Bitfinex Adds Margin Trading for Stellar (XLM)/Tether USD (USDt) Pair

We’re pleased to announce that the XLM/USDt pair has been added to our suite of margin trading products.

As of 14/01/2025 at 4:00 PM UTC, the pair can be traded with a maximum leverage of 2x (Initial Margin 50%, Maintenance Margin 25%).

XLM margin trading is already available with the pairs XLM/USD (2x) and XLM/BTC (2x).

Margin trading enables traders to borrow funds to increase leverage, offering the potential for greater profits than in traditional trading. Still, the potential for greater rewards also comes with higher levels of risk, particularly given the volatility of digital assets.
